Tokyo Game Show 2025: Dates, Tickets, Exhibitors, and More

Tokyo Game Show, one of the biggest gaming events on the planet, is celebrating its 28th anniversary this year. The event is expected to witness a huge number of participants this year, shattering the previous year’s records. So far, 4,000 booths have been made, and 800+ exhibitors have been registered.

This article lists the complete exhibitors registered, provides ticket details for both locals and foreigners, and delves into the timeline of events. Without further ado, let’s get started.

Tokyo Game Show 2025 Schedule

The event, separated as business days and public days, is conducted within a course of four days, starting from September 2025. The business days will feature business-related sessions, intended to gather entrepreneurs looking for new joint ventures. The public days will have all other sessions. The timing for each day is given below.

Business Days

  • September 25 (Thursday) 10:00 to 17:00
  • September 26 (Friday) 10:00 to 17:00

Public Days

  • September 27 (Saturday) 9:30 to 17:00
  • September 28 (Sunday) 9:30 to 16:30

How to Get Tickets for Tokyo Game Show? Costs & More

Tokyo Game Show 2025

The sale will go live on July 12th at noon for the regular tickets. Apart from the regular tickets, there are “Fast Tickets” and “Business Days Tickets.” Both locals and foreigners can book tickets online, and those with pre-registration codes will get a discount.

Public (General) Day Tickets

This One‑Day Admission Ticket is only valid for September 27 (Saturday) or 28 (Sunday), the two days open to the public. One should buy two tickets if one intends to participate in both days. Junior high school students and older can access this ticket. Elementary school children and younger fellows can enter free of charge. The charge is ¥3,000 per day (tax included).

Fast Ticket (aka “Supporters Club Ticket”)

This is sold as a lottery from July 12th to July 21st on a first‑come, first‑served basis. The ticket includes an exclusive merchandise set from the Tokyo Game Show. The number is limited to two tickets per person per day. The cost of one ticket is ¥6,000 (tax included).

Business Days Tickets (Industry‑only)

This ticket is for trade professionals, press, exhibitors, etc., and requires pre-registration and screening. Eligible industry visitors can enter the event free of charge. For Pre‑Registration Code holders, the rate is ¥16,500 (tax included). For non‑code holders, the ticket price is ¥27,500 (tax included).
