Mafia: The Old Country has 50 Mystery Foxes. These are the main collectibles in the game scattered across the Valle Dorata. Players have to find all of them to complete the game. This guide will reveal all 50 Mystery Fox Locations and which chapters you will find them in.
What are Mystery Foxes?
Mystery Foxes are collectibles scattered throughout the Mafia: The Old Country game. There are a total of 50 Foxes, and finding all of them can unlock the Mystery Fox Domination trophy and achievement, and the Collector trophy and achievement.
Every collectible can be found through Chapter Replay and Free Roam. As the name suggests, Mystery Foxes appear like small fox statues and flicker when you get close to them.
The foxes you have collected will be marked on the map with a white icon. This way, you can easily see which ones have been collected and which ones have not. When you collect a fox and your character dies, you do not have to go in search of the fox, as it will be instantly saved in your collectibles.
10 Mystery Foxes can be found in the Story. The other 40 are found in Free Roam. So, let’s look at the Mystery Foxes found in Mafia: The Old Country.

Mystery Fox #1
Chapter 3 – Pizzu
Objective: Find the whiskey
The whiskey can be found at Porto Almaro during the stealth section in the yard. You have to search crates for the story, and it can be found on the back left corner of the yard.

Chapter 4 – Il Barone
Objective: Find Gennaro
After the chase (car/horse), you will reach the enemy camp. When you get to the halfway point, you will go through a cave. After exiting the cave, there is a side platform on the right where the second fox can be found.

Chapter 5 – Vendetta D’Onore
Objective: Kill Ludovici’s guards
Once you enter the villa and get into a cutscene with Ludovici, you will appear on the balcony. Ludovici’s guards will be shooting at you from below. You have to turn around and enter his room, where the cutscene took place. The fox can be found at the corner by the fireplace.

Chapter 6 – La Difesa Siciliana
Objective: Find the printing plates
After freeing yourself from the prison cell, you will have a stealth section where you must sneak through the town hall. Then you have to go upstairs, turn right, follow the corridor to the end, and go through the door to an office where the fox is situated.

Chapter 7 – Spirito Sportivo
Objective: Sneak past the Marquis
At the beginning of the Bordello area, you have to sneak through the courtyard past the guards. Then you have to go upstairs in the back right corner. You will meet a prostitute in a blue dress, and to her left, there is a bench and some plants. The fox is situated in a dark corner between the plants.

Chapter 9 – Industria
Objective: Find a way into the foreman’s office
In the stealth section, you have to sneak through the factory and keep going until you reach the inside of the first factory building. You need to take the first exit on the left, which opens to a yard where there are two enemies. On the left side of the yard, you will find the fox in an open crate.

Chapter 11 – Mattanza
Objective: Escort Don Torrisi
After you arrive at the Tuna factory, you will have to face the first combat of this chapter. The fox is situated near the window upstairs.

Chapter 12 – La Forza Del Destino
Objective: Get to the Royal Box
Once the first combat of this chapter has been completed, you have to climb up a ladder through a manhole cover and enter the opera.
In the room, you have to push a cart (which is essential in the game) and enter the next room (a dressing room), where the fox is located in the corner. (An in-game map of this area is unavailable.)

Chapter 12 – La Forza Del Destino
Objective: Get to the Royal Box
After the previous fox, you have to sneak past the guards near the backstage area. Sneak along until you reach a ladder where a yellow objective marker is.
Before climbing up, turn right, where you will see a big blue curtain. You should go up the wooden path in front of the curtain and open the chest to grab the fox.

Chapter 12: La Forza Del Destino
Objective: Get to the Royal Box
You have to sneak through a corridor with red wallpaper, open the door, and stay at the top of the staircase. Three enemies will stand and talk at the bottom of the staircase.
Two of them will leave, and you will have to choke the one that stays behind. Before going through the door with the yellow marker to the left of the stairs, you will find the fox.

From the church courtyard, you can go down the small stairs to find it on a balcony overlooking Porto Almaro. You can get to this area by taking the road east of the fox and interacting with the two gates on the path. The gates will be closed when you first go there, and you can open them.

Go slightly north of Pasquale’s Gas Station fast travel point. Climb up the stairs around the house to go upstairs.

You will be on the balcony of a tall house by the roadside. Go up the stairs on the side of the house to reach and collect the fox.
